When it comes to Madison lakes, it’s not only the fish that count on clean water for swimming. Hundreds of swimmers plunge into our lakes each year, especially as part of our vibrant triathlon scene. Whether you are a competitive swimmer looking for a great training opportunity, or a recreational swimmer who cares about clean water, you can feel good knowing that your registration makes a difference to help protect our lakes. 

Choose from a 1.2 or 2.4 mile event in the same waters as the Ironman swim course.
OPTIONAL: to maximize your support of clean lakes, register to participate in the 12-mile Loop the Lake bike ride at 10 a.m.

Regular pricing - $50 - April 15th through July 15th
Last Chance pricing - $60 - July 15th through July 25th
Day-of pricing - $75

All swimmers will receive a race cap, t-shirt and beverage ticket. Gender-specific changing tents will be available. You may leave personal items unattended at your own risk. Help us reduce waste by bringing your own filled water bottle.

Swim events will be chip timed. Wetsuits are optional. Packet pickup runs from 6 to 6:45 a.m. and the race begins promptly at 7 o'clock. The course will be open for two and a half hours through 9:30 a.m.

By registering for the event, participants agree to the terms of the Acknowledgement, Waiver and Release from Liability (AWRL). Please read the document carefully. Minors must submit form signed by parent or guardian to participate.
